Sales Summer Intern
Screenvision is a national leader in cinema advertising, offering on-screen advertising, in-lobby promotions and integrated marketing programs to national, regional and local advertisers and providing comprehensive cinema advertising representation services for its theatrical exhibitor partners. The Screenvision cinema advertising network is comprised of 14,003 screens in 2,259 theater locations across all 50 states and 93% of DMAs nationwide.
2 Interns will work as a team. Purpose of the project is to develop a comprehensive client presentation for a pre-determined advertiser currently under-spent on SVM. This will be done with heavy supervision of VP. The advertiser will be relevant to the Interns in an effort to enhance creativity. Examples are Under Armor, Peleton, Apple, Hulu etc.
The interns will work on the presentation for the duration of the program, culminating in them presenting back to sales team, senior management, and CEO.
Interns will have access to sales team, VP, research, marketing, etc. while developing the presentation. The goal is to develop a client pitch that can be taken to market and sold.
Special Events :
Interns to help with various sales stunts such as Popcorn Truck, Screenings, etc.
Social Outreach :
Interns will help amplify SVM social outreach via FB, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Information such as upcoming releases, past performance, new trailers etc. will be socialized weekly.
Thematic movie alignment:
Interns will research full list of upcoming movie titles and categorize titles by genre. For example, a list of family/co-viewing titles, list of action titles, list of action thrillers etc.
Interns will attend agency/client sales meetings at the discretion of AE/VP, with the expectation that they will play a role in the presentation. Interns will also be responsible for taking notes at the meeting, and following up with all relative material requested, with the help and oversight of the AE.
Interns will attend as many internal/external conference calls as possible, following up with all relevant notes/info with all relevant participants.
Interns will be responsible for referring to ISpot TV for all advertiser accounts to determine latest ad executions.
Interns will attend NCM theatre and track current ad loads, and report back to team weekly.
Weekly National Sales Meetings:
Interns will work with a Sales Service Executive putting together weekly agenda and presentation for the meeting. Interns will also participate (present) part of the material (TBD).
Weekly Team Meeting:
Interns will attend/participate in the weekly NY team meeting. VP to instruct on a weekly basis (summarize various trade articles, review competitive NCM ads, Weekly movie performance, etc.)
Weekly Expert Sessions:
Interns will meet with a representative from various departments (Sales, Research, Marketing, Exhibitor Relations, Finance, Sales Planning etc.) for better understanding of overall company.
