SCREENVISION MEDIA’S CREATIVE STUDIO, 40 FOOT SOLUTIONS, UNVEILS LATEST BLOCKBUSTER INTEGRATION CREATING A MEMORABLE IMPRESSION

Disruptive 90 Second Spot Aligns with Marvel Studios, Connecting Sprint with

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Industry Leading Creative Group Produces its Fifth Branded Content Segment This Year

New York, N.Y., May 18, 2017 — Screenvision Media, a national leader in cinema advertising, in alliance with Sprint, debuted a disruptive 90 second spot aligning the brand with one of Hollywood’s hottest films, Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Screenvision Media’s award-winning creative studio, 40 Foot Solutions, wrote, directed and produced the unique integration with Sprint specifically for the big screen, leaving a memorable impression on audiences.

In this custom spot, moviegoers are shown what they think is a preview for Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but as all eyes focus on the screen, something unprecedented happens – the screen freezes on a scene and then goes completely black.  After a few moments, an alert appears that the screen has reached its data limit. It is then that Sprint customer, Paul, enters and is surprised to see an audience staring back at him. Like a super hero himself, Paul is there to lend a helping hand by using Sprint’s Unlimited data plan to re-ignite the screen, allowing the audience to continue enjoying the thrilling footage from the trailer. Sprint saves the day and is positioned as the hero moviegoers needed.

“Our creative team is always looking for ways to be outside the box within the content we produce. This was a really fun project to work on that directly tapped into the passion and anticipation of our moviegoing audience,” said Matt Arden, SVP, Executive Creative Director, Screenvision Media. “We, along with the Sprint team, were able to create a spot that aligned their brand messaging with one of the hottest Hollywood films of the year in a meaningful and impactful way. We couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out.”

“The 40 foot screen is the ultimate place to create a memorable impression, and we’re very pleased to be able to bring Sprint and Marvel Studios together to create blockbuster impact,” said Christine Martino, EVP National Ad Sales, Screenvision Media. “We’re proud of the differentiation that our creativity brings to the marketplace.”

The 90-second custom content segment ran in 1,083 theaters on 7,558 screens this spring within Screenvision Media’s Front + Center Preshow. Thus far, in 2017, 40 Foot Solutions has produced branded content segments across the watch, consumer electronics, skincare, automotive and wireless categories.
