New York, NY – (Nov. 16, 2010)
Screenvision, the leading innovator in cinema advertising, will bring Beyoncé’s “I AM…WORLD TOUR” to movie theatres in select cities for a special one-night-only cinema showcase on Thursday, November 18th at 7:30pm. Houston, Texas, Beyoncé’s hometown will have an early screening November 17th. Produced, directed and edited by Beyoncé Knowles, the “I AM…WORLD TOUR” concert film is an immersive entertainment experience, weaving together engaging concert and tour footage from various shows around-the-world to create the ultra Beyoncé concert experience — presented first-hand from the artist’s perspective.
Screenvision will digitally distribute the film to its participating exhibitor partners including Carmike Cinemas, Rave, National Amusements, Malco Theatres, Harkins Theatres, Reading Cinemas, Studio Movie Grill, Wehrenberg Theatres, Classic Cinemas, Mann Theatres and Landmark Theatres. A complete list of theaters can be found at www.beyonceonline.com. Additionally, Screenvision will offer marketing support for the film through its preshow programming and other in-theatre assets including a :30 spot currently running in Screenvision theatres.
In addition to offering rare behind-the-scenes glimpses into the dynamic personal world of Beyoncé on tour, “I AM…WORLD TOUR” features dazzling performances of more than twenty #1 hits transformed for the stage, guest appearances by superstars Kanye West and Jay-Z, and spectacular staging, costumes, lighting and production values.
