METS TEAM UP WITH SCREENVISION TO HOST METS AT THE MOVIES IN MANHATTAN NEW JERSEY AND LONG ISLAND

The New York Mets, in conjunction with Screenvision – a leader in cinema advertising – today announced the premiere of “Mets at the Movies” Wednesday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. as the Mets visit the Atlanta Braves. The Mets on SNY in Hi-Def will present the game at three Clearview Cinema locations: Chelsea Cinemas (Manhattan), Parsippany Cinemas (New Jersey), and Port Washington Cinemas (Long Island). Fans in attendance will participate in traditional Shea Stadium in-game activities including t-shirt launches, lucky fan giveaways, and other Shea favorites recreating the Mets ballpark experience. Mr. Met and the Pepsi Party Patrol will also be at the event to provide entertainment throughout the evening. The Mets will hold two “Mets at the Movies” events July 17 and August 27 with locations to be announced in the weeks ahead.
Last August, the Mets and Screenvision teamed up for the first-ever “Mets at the Movies,” which sold out the 1,100-seat famed Ziegfeld Theater in Manhattan.
