Screenvision Announces Partnership with Ford for In-Theatre Campaign Featuring Ford Fiesta
New York, NY – (July 2, 2010)
Screenvision, the leading innovator in cinema advertising, announced today a partnership with Ford to launch a new exclusive in-cinema campaign for the Ford Fiesta automobile across theatres nationwide. The campaign kicks off July 2nd and runs through September 2nd which features a 60-second spot airing within Screenvision’s exclusive Premium Pod™ segment. The in-cinema Ford Fiesta brand experience will also include Screenvision’s Advance College Screenings at universities and colleges in September.
Screenvision’s Advance College Screenings provide students with a first look at highly anticipated films in theatres on college campuses across the country. These special screenings provide Screenvision clients with the opportunity to showcase their brands to the elusive college-aged consumer in an influential, engaging environment. Screenvision’s college partners include Georgetown University, University of Michigan, Harvard University, University of Miami, Stanford University and many more.
“We are excited to have Ford Fiesta as a partner on Screenvision’s national cinema advertising network and we look forward to providing an effective platform to showcase their new automobile,” said Mike Chico, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Screenvision. “Ford’s interest and support of the Screenvision preshow offerings confirm their recognition of the power of Screenvision in-cinema advertising and its ability to reach a wide, captive audience.”
“Screenvision provides Ford with great national coverage and a placement and integration which are unique with other forms of media” said Susan Venen-Bock of Ford. “Working with Screenvision on our Ford Fiesta campaign will allow us to reach our target consumer who can actively engage with our messaging.”
Screenvision will promote the Ford Fiesta through its cinema advertising network of over 15,300 screens in over 2,500 theatre locations across all 50 states and 93% of DMAs nationwide. The Ford Fiesta campaign is built around the theme, “It’s a pretty big deal” and the spot is designed to get people’s attention by entertaining them while educating them about the vehicle. The spot opens with two people sitting in a Fiesta talking about the vehicle’s push-button start feature. From there, a whimsical world starts to unfold and the product messages are brought to life in an organic way.
