Screenvision Partners with Crimson Films and PMK*BNC to Present Indie-Horror Film “Bereavement” in Theatres Beginning March 4th
New York, NY – (March 4, 2011)
Screenvision, the leading innovator in cinema advertising, announced today its partnership with Crimson Films and PMK*BNC to theatrically distribute the indie-horror film “Bereavement,” directed/written by Stevan Mena and produced by Vincent Butta.
“Bereavement” will be screened in select theatres nationwide on Friday, March 4th with additional locations starting on Friday, March 18th. In conjunction with Crimson Films, the initial release on March 4th will take place in Allentown, PA, Raleigh/Durham, NC, Madison, WI, Columbus, OH, Minneapolis, MN, Baton Rouge, LA and Long Island, NY with the March 18th showings taking place in Birmingham, AL, Providence, RI, San Antonio, TX, Milwaukee, WI and the New York DMA.
The film will be playing at the following Screenvision exhibitor partners’ theatres: Carmike Cinemas, Rave Motion Pictures, Carmike Cinemas, Carolina Cinemas, Marcus Theatres, National Amusements Theatres, Premiere Cinemas, Santikos Theatres, Clearview Cinemas and Reading Cinemas.
Bereavement tells the story of Martin’s whereabouts which have remained a mystery for five years, until 17 year old Allison Miller comes to live with her uncle, Jonathan. While exploring her new surroundings, Allison discovers things aren’t quite right at the farmhouse down the road. Her curiosity disturbs a hornet’s nest of evil and despair that once torn open, can never be closed. The film stars Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator, Grindhouse), Alexandra Daddario (Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Hall Pass (2011), John Savage (The Deer Hunter, Hair), Nolan Gerard Funk (Spectacular, Smallville) and Brett Rickaby (The Crazies, Zodiac)
