SCREENVISION PROMOTES JOHN MCCAULEY TO CHIEF STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
McCauley is Poised to Elevate Cinema Advertising and Champion Screenvision’s Key Initiatives
Expanding on CMO Responsibilities, McCauley to Oversee Content, Technology Alliances and Data Programs
New York, N.Y., January 20, 2016 – Screenvision, a national cinema advertising leader, today announced that Screenvision veteran, John McCauley, has been elevated from Chief Marketing Officer to Chief Strategic Development Officer effective immediately. The promotion was the first official key executive appointment made by Screenvision’s new CEO, John Partilla.
McCauley, who joined Screenvision in 2011, will maintain his responsibilities as Chief Marketing Officer and will assume responsibility for leading the company’s development and integration of technology, overseeing data and content solutions for advertisers, directing strategic alliances to continue company growth, and managing the company’s Research Department.
Over his tenure at Screenvision, McCauley was credited with reimagining and relaunching Screenvision’s preshow – Front and Center, executive producing Screenvision’s inaugural and subsequent Upfront events, creating Screenvision’s in-house creative studio – 40 Foot Solutions, and developing key alliances with content and tech companies like BiteSizeTV, Shazam, SoundHound and Audience Entertainment which were integrated into solutions with companies like Ford, LG and Volvo.

Prior to joining Screenvision, McCauley was the Chief Marketing Officer of CBS College Sports Network, where he focused on branding, media, digital programming, online marketing and research. McCauley has extensive sports and entertainment experience, and held senior marketing leadership roles at the National Football League, Reebok and The Weinstein Company, where he worked on film and TV properties.
McCauley received his B.S. in Accounting from Kings College, and an M.B.A. from The Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management. He currently lives with his wife and two children in New Rochelle, New York.
